We ran and ran and ran some more. Below are a few of our favorite memories from our 340 mile relay from LA to Vegas. Our team of 6 finished in 38 hours and 32 minutes and 4th place. The three teams that finished before us were backed by global running brands. We were the first and only team out there reppin’ a local running store.

Phase 1: The Climb

From the beginning the team agreed on going for the win. So with 6 runners and 3 crew members, Go The Spoils lines up for a group photo before the race starts.
4:00 am, run crews from around the world meet underneath the Santa Monica Pier.
Completely unsanctioned with no rules and no course map, it was the fastest team and best route choice who would win it all. Paul Terranova seen navigating the team through the city, assuring the first couple of exchanges went smoothly.
Miles 0 – 63 consisted of 3200 ft of elevation climb.
(MILE 108) A 2.1 mile shortcut found days leading up to the race, Stephen March hops a fence labeled “Dead End.” The shortcut took us from 6th to 3rd place. Worth the risk.

Phase 2: Night Trails

Gearing up for his 7 mile segment off road. Justin Cameron and Ross Brown complete the leg together, one person biking and one person running – as the RV couldn’t be near to support them.

Phase 3: Death Valley to Vegas
